At Little River Produce we are working hard every day to ensure that we can provide our communities with the best possible produce we can grow.  We take pride not only in what we produce, but also in how we produce it.  Using sustainable farming techniques, as well industry compliant food safety programs, we are able to provide all of our customers with safe high quality fruits and vegetables.

We strive to be industry leaders in our farming methods, food safety practices, packing standards, and high level of customer service. We are proud to continue our family's long-standing tradition of farming and look forward to sharing our passion with you.

Food Safety,
Social Responsibility & Agricultural Sustainability

At Little River Produce we take the health and safety of our workers, customers, and consumers personally.  We want to protect your family the same way we would protect our own.  Our farm actively engages in industry standards for Food Safety, Social Responsibility, and in Sustainable Agricultural Practices.

Food Safety

At Little River, we participate in government regulated food safety programs to help insure that we are offering the freshest and safest produce we can to our customers.  Our farm prioritizes food safety throughout the entire growing and production process; from making sure we use clean water sources to grow products, to using proper handling procedures to make sure nothing is contaminated during the harvesting or packing processes.  We care about the safety of our workers and our customers, and strive to do everything we can to ensure that we provide safe and healthy produce.

Social Responsibility

At our farm social responsibility is crucial for ensuring fair treatment of our workers. This includes providing fair wages and benefits, maintaining health and safety standards, complying with local laws and international conventions, and involving employees in improving working conditions. By prioritizing these factors, Little River Produce can create a positive and sustainable work environment for all of our employees.

Sustainibility

Our farm is actively involved with using sustainable agriculture practices that are designed to meet the needs of the present generation without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. These farming practices involve the use of various techniques that are aimed at protecting the environment, public health, human communities, and animal welfare. By adopting sustainable agriculture practices, we can improve soil health, reduce pollution, and increase biodiversity, while also producing high-quality food that is safe and healthy for consumers.  We have been farming in south Georgia for over 100 years, and we are trying to make sure we continue to take into account the long-term impact of our farming practices on our environment and society.
